CODRU Oxygen Booth - A place to breathe is a project initiated by the CODRU Festival Association and funded by Forvia, which conceptualizes the need of humanity and the planet for oxygen to survive. Passersby are invited to spend recreational time in an immersive installation that stimulates the senses, surrounded by a natural source of oxygen, an installation that enriches the artistic and cultural scene of the TM2023 Opening Program.
CODRU Oxygen Booth - A place to breathe contributes to the program dedicated to the TM2023 opening event, inviting the public to directly contact both nature and contemporary art/culture, simultaneously. The project participates in the exchange in which Timișoara ensures the existence of the natural environment, through the care and arrangement of as many green spaces as possible, an exchange from which the inhabitants of Timișoara, the city's visitors, and the population in general benefit. Beyond the primary need for oxygen, the project seeks to promote accessibility to art in the community. The public discovers the multidisciplinarity of participatory art by entering the immersive audio space of the installation, thus contributing to the knowledge and understanding of new artistic expression media.
