E-an-na | Festivalul LA PAS

We will have - and we're excited about it - folk metal, combined with archaic music and avant-garde elements, at this year's LA PAS Festival, because E-an-na! will join us!

Expressing themselves naturally through folk songs, modern metal, and unique interpretations of lesser-known Romanian traditional songs, the band has gathered fans from all over Europe.

E-an-na performed at Wacken Open Air in 2017, was a fan favorite at Eurovision Romania 2022, and trended on Romanian Spotify and Youtube with songs like "Ies," "Malere," "Floare de Fier," and more recently, "Toropeală" and "O, Romanița," which have amassed millions of listens.

The group already has several albums to their name and a significant community of fans, both folk and rock enthusiasts alike.

"E-an-na" represents a metaphysical world where ordinary universal laws are abolished, and what matters is only creative thought, the passion that gives us a real reason to live. The band has even created its own alphabet, often used for their lyrics and graphics, as well as their logo.

When we say E-an-na, we mean: Andrei "Solomonar" Oltean - vocals, flutes, bagpipes, and accordion (traditional instruments), Roxana Amărandi - vocals & violin, Andrei Piper - guitar, Dragoș Geomolean - bass guitar, Ioana Popescu - keyboards, Ovidiu "Cio" Ban - guitar, and Paul Bucătaru - drums.

You can see and listen to them on October 13-15, 2023, at the LA PAS Festival - Artisanal Gastronomy Festival, at the "Corneliu Miklosi" Public Transport Museum in Timișoara.

This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is funded by the City of Timișoara, through the Center for Projects.
