Eastim Vynil Launch in Timișoara

Mark your calendars for a remarkable evening in Timișoara on November 25th as we unveil Eastim: Unity Through Music and Diversity. An album born from the creative collaboration between local artists and migrant talents, this Figura Kollective initiative aimed to showcase that music transcends borders and acts as a bridge across civilizations.

We will start with Melo Melanj, our local vinyl fair where enthusiasts can explore and purchase their very own copy of Eastim, which takes place at Pixel TM starting 12 am .

We will continue with an electrifying evening concert featuring four exceptional DJs. K-Lu, Injektah and Mighty Boogie mixed tracks on the vinly, while Sebcat (Rebel Up) is our dedicated partner from Belgium. Together, we'll celebrate the unifying power of music and embrace the cultural diversity that enriches our community.

Eastim is a testament to the magic that happens when cultures collide and collaborate. Local artists, renowned in their own right, have joined forces with talented migrants who bring their unique, ethnicity-specific artistic values to the project. The result is an enchanting blend of national and ethnic folklore, infused with the musical traditions of the participants' countries of origin, all seamlessly woven together with underground music.

But Eastim goes beyond music. This album is both a statement of identity and an achievement in cultural integration and education, fostering mutual understanding among international groups through music. The project brought together social groups that might not otherwise have the opportunity to connect. It's a unique context where local and international artists unite, creating a unique cultural product together.
We want to give a big shoutout to everyone involved in the album’s production. Nothing would have been possible without your dedication and passion.

Join us for an unforgettable evening, where music transcends boundaries and borders. Eastim is more than a vinyl launch; it's a celebration of cultural diversity through the universal language of music.

The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
