FAITH. TRUST. CLANDESTINITY. Images from the Secret Police Archives: Closing Event

The Museum of the Horrors of Communism in Romania (MOCR), in partnership with the Revolution Memorial in Timișoara, invites you to the finale of the exhibition FAITH. TRUST. CLANDESTINITY. Images from the files of the secret police, organized within the Timișoara European Capital of Culture 2023 cultural project.

They will speak: Rado Gino - president of the Revolution Memorial Association, Alexandru Groza - manager of the Museum of Horrors of Communism in Romania and Smaranda Vultur - writer. Also on the occasion of the finish, there will also be an award ceremony for the young artists who will contribute to the permanent exhibition of the Revolution Memorial in Timișoara.

The exhibition was carried out by an international team of researchers under the coordination of the principal investigator, James Kapalo, a renowned researcher and university professor from the University of Cork in Ireland. The project's team of researchers consists of: Anca Sincan, Kinga Podevak, Agnes Hesz, Iuliana Cindrea, Tatiana Vagramenko, Dummitru Lisnic, Igor Casu Their efforts benefited from the support of curator Gabriela Nicolescu.

The event is part of the cultural project Connections and cultural transfer at the border between ages and worlds.

The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
