The President of PEN Romania, Ruxandra Cesereanu, the Vice President of PEN Romania, Cosmin Perța, and writers Viorel Marineasa and Marcel Tolcea will attend the event. The discussion will focus on the importance of poetry in the public space, the effects it can have and how literature managed to lay the foundations of a revolutionary discourse, with the life and work of the poet and revolutionary Ion Monoran as a starting point. At the same time, a writer, Ion Monoran, will be awarded the title of PEN member for the first time post-mortem.
