Flowers, Stones and Other Demons

By/with Alexandra Bălășoiu, Cristina Lilienfeld, Cosmin Manolescu

Three choreographers take turns as performers, commentators, generators of absurd situations and other random happenings, make statements and participate in an emotional striptease in which the audience is invited to leave with the artists in an exploration of the self and the problems generated by emotions, capitalism and repression of contemporary society. "Flowers, stones and other demons", is a collective performance born from a journey into the unconscious of its creators. A metaphor for human experience, the performance is a journey into the universal themes of trauma, love and (dis)organisation. The performance will be followed by a discussion with the audience about the collective creation presented but also about the state of contemporary dance in the social and cultural context in which we live.

The event D.A.N.C.E™ Dance. Artists. Network. Conference.
