Who are we in our relationship with our child? Are we ourselves, as we imagined we would be as parents, or are we the children of our parents, carrying forward all the mistakes we promised we’d never make? And especially, what do we do in moments of crisis? How far are we willing to go to "save" our child?

"Foamea” / ”Hunger" is a theatre performance that humorously explores how the fear of making mistakes, helplessness, and guilt blind us to the deepest human need: to love and be loved.

Between October 18 and 30, 2024, in Timișoara, the International Theatre Festival "Sunlight Theatre: Performative Dialogues II" opens its doors to celebrate the art of theatre in a truly unique way.

This year's edition, organized by the Artmedia Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Faculty of Music and Theatre of the West University of Timișoara, brings the future great creators and performers of the theatre world into the spotlight. We are talking about young students and graduates who, through their passion, transform the stage into a living space, pulsing with creative energy.

The event is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Legacy Timișoara 2023 program, run by the Project Center of the Municipality of Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
