If you lived under communism, develop your memories of the regime in a special photography workshop!
Frames of Memory: Pinhole Photography Lab with Claudia Bocsai is an analog photography workshop for families with children (6-12 years old) and takes place in the framework of the exhibition This Side of Paradise by artist Marius Bercea.
The exhibition - the artist's biggest so far - presents different aspects of society, taking a retrospective of the period after the 1989 Revolution.
Using the pinhole technique (photography without a lens), in the workshop participants will create their own artworks reflecting on the historical and cultural background of post-communist Romania, based on interpretations of memory, landscape and collective activities.
The facilitator will be Claudia Bucsai, trainer, photographer and coordinator of the mediation programs. Throughout her career in the independent creative sector, Claudia has successfully blended all her passions, and on August 16 I will guide you to artistically record your memories of the communist regime.
