Curious to learn more about the intricacies of Breaking - a dance form born in the streets?

Jammin' in the Park Timisoara offers you a unique visual and aural spectacle that will include music, dance, street art, sport and dueling. The event will take place on August 17 in I.C. Brătianu Park, where the area will come to life in authentic urban style.

A special graffiti wall will be set up, where talented artists will illustrate a brief history of Timisoara's Breaking pioneers, who have had a significant impact on the local and national scene.

The event will last approximately 4-5 hours, during which the dancers will duel in spectacular battles, where their connection with music, acrobatic movements and their energy will provide a visual and exciting show for all spectators

In order to motivate and inspire the younger generation, a free dance workshop will be set up, led by an experienced dancer. It will give children the opportunity to understand the principles and values of this individualistic art form called Breaking.

The main objective of Jammin' in Timisoara is to grow and strengthen the community of break dancers (Breakers) in Timisoara and its surroundings. Breaking, born on the streets in 1973, has evolved with the hip-hop culture, becoming recognized as a fusion between art and sport and selected as an Olympic sport. Hip-hop culture is inclusive, transcending nationalities, ethnicities and genders, facilitating socialization and connections both locally and internationally.
