"Congé Spatial is a spaceship designed to experience the most adventurous of musical explorations, driven by two explorers in search of unknown soundscapes. Propulsed from rhythmic sprints at lightning speed to contemplative harmonic hover flights, this odd two-seat plane flies through unexpected sonic pathways. Whether they are playing their own compositions, messing around with jazz standards, or improvising freely, the sound of Congé Spatial remains uniquely compelling.

This is the introduction to organist Etienne Manchon and saxophones player Pierre Lapprand’s album, Conge Spatial. The two artists will bring their own compositions and their “French interstellar jazz” to Timișoara, in an absolutely unique and captivating concert that will take place on the 24th of October, starting at 7.30 pm in the Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
