Life in ZERO WASTE is fantastic!
Because the fashion industry is the second largest poluting industry in the world and textile waste is not getting recicled not even for a small procentage, but it is sitting in landfills in undeveloped countries where they’ll continue to pollute generation to come: I invite you on Friday, the 13th of october at 6 PM, to discover solutions to the problem together. Easy to integrate in our day to day life solutions. Life in ZERO WASTE is fantastic!
We’ll explore together the landfills through a contemporary dance, between textile waste. Then I’ll invite you to contribute to the artistic project by adding your own textile waste to it. You’ll have textile waste resources from atelier KIRIZZA at your disposal, but I encourage you to bring your own waste from home. Maybe that old T’shirt?
Towards the end we’ll observe how much the textile object has changed with our contribution, simbolizing the human contribution to textile waste pollution from landfills. One old T’shirt at a time. We will end the event with ideas, contacts and practical solutions to recicycling, donating, reusing and reducing our consumption, which is the only real way to reduce textile waste. You will recieve a list of companies, locations and collecting places where you can donate your clothing, depending on the state they’re in.
The event will take place in the Cronic Love Production Europe location in the Brück Palace, at the 2nd floor. The acces is free, but we ask you to be there at 6 PM sharp, so you won’t miss any part of the performance.
