One World Romania Association organizes Meet, Point & Shoot, a documentary film workshop dedicated to young people from Timisoara, aged 14 to 19. 16 participants will be selected, including 8 Ukrainians. The workshop will be coordinated by film trainers Ana Gurdiș and Mircea Gherase. The workshop provides young people with an introduction to the basics of audiovisual language and grammar, at a theoretical and practical level. The programme designed by the trainers brings to the participants' attention the representation of reality through the camera and its implications.  The workshop is not competitive, but rather aims to bring participants together in a space for free expression and discussion about human rights in a non-formal setting. Participants will work both individually and in teams through a series of field filming and editing exercises, which are then discussed and analysed from formal, grammatical and ethical points of view.
