Organ Recital Lukas Hasler (Austria)

„Rising Star” (as named by the austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung), young organist Lukas Hasler will perform a solo recital in Timișoara, at the Roman Catholic Dome, on the 5th of October, starting at 7.30 pm.

Together with works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Léon Boëllmann, the virtuoso organist will also interpret his own arrangements to Ludwig van Beethoven’s famous Moonlight Sonata and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Sonata in G major, arranged for two pianos by Edvard Grieg and transcribed for organ by the soloist himself. The Claquers wrote in 2022 in regards to this sonata that Lukas Hasler’s approach had “a special flair, preserving the serenity, lightness and brilliance characteristic of Mozart’s music.”

We are delighted to have Lukas Hasler perform in our city and we await you all to his fantastic recital on the 5th of October, at the Roman Catholic Dome.

Entrance to all events is free of charge.
