Painting, photography and multimedia exhibition

Painting, photography and multimedia exhibition
When: December 1-22, 2024
Where: Timișoara Garrison Headquarters, Libertății Square

'35 is an exhibition commemorating the Revolution of 1989. A space and time of passage, between "before and after" 1989. An intergenerational exhibition addressed both to the contemporary art scene and to the public, young people - eager to delve into the subtleties of a moment of change in the socio-political and cultural paradigm in Romania.

Artist Adrian Florin Pop's vision is complemented by the lived experience of the revolutionary Cătălin Regea, the exhibition's themes being the division associated with control and, on the other hand, solidarity and transformation. The originality of his artistic vision is materialized in artworks from different areas of expression - painting, video, sound, installation - all using original photographs and film footage as a starting point and based on solid documentation.

Artist: Adrian Florin Pop, Revolutionary: Cătălin Regea, Curators: Cristina Daju, Mihai Toth.

Organizer: House of Culture of the Municipality of Timișoara
