Inspired by the artistic and pedagogical practice of Mircea Nicolae, the workshops led by Mihai Toth with pupils from the Gymnasium no. 30 in Timișoara explored three main directions: the significance of the city’s spaces of transition, the active relationship with the city through personal messages inscribed in the public space, as well as the creative use of found objects. The event will present the objects which resulted from the workshops’ activities, as well as the methods employed.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Inside Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
