Recital de orgă și nai - Cristina Struța-orgă, Mădălin Luca-nai

For the second concert of the International Festival Organs of the Citadel of Timișoara, we await you in the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Cristina Struța will have Mădălin Luca by her side in an organ and pan flute recital representing a new premiere for our festival.

Approaching a varied repertoire composed of arrangements of traditional songs and more, Cristina Struța and Mădălin Luca promise you a surprising recital, which will evoke the spirit of old romanian villages and carry you into the nostalgia of summer evenings through the unique and special sound of the pan flute.

  • Eduard Terényi (1935-2020): Semper Felice
  • Arvo Pärt (1935*): Spiegel im Spiegel 
  • Gaida (traditional song) - pan flute and electronics  
  • Constantin Arvinte (1926-2021): Romanian Suite
  • Enrico Pasini (1935-2022): Cantabile no.2
  • Samuel Barber (1910-1981): Adagio for strings - pan flute and electronics 
  • James Last (1929-2015): The Lonely Shepherd
  • Grigoraș Dinicu (1889-1949): Ciocârlia (The Skylark)

The concert will take place on July 7, 2024, from 7:00 p.m., at the Evangelical Lutheran Church (near the Cardinal Points Fountain). 

Entry to all events within the Festival is free.

Unfortunately, the church is not wheelchair accessible.
