During these three creative workshops, students will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of the Pine Forest universe, populated with scaled-down fantasy characters. Each workshop will follow the same basic structure but will focus on different themes, tailored to each age group. To create a fairy-tale atmosphere, the classroom will feature 10 paper trees on stands, along with several sheets of paper for students to interact with during the workshops. The first exercise for the students involves attaching pine cone cut-outs to these sheets and paper trees, then connecting these elements using colored strings. Depending on the age group, students will be guided to make various paper collages: younger groups (5th and 6th graders) will be given pre-prepared sheets with abstract structures to cut and paste, creating forest scenes and details (for group 1), or assembled characters (for group 2). For older groups (7th and 8th graders), experimental exercises in creating textured sheets will be proposed, using various materials and tools provided to the students. Finally, the paper trees, models, and sheets created by the students will be displayed in an exhibition within the school. This workshop is conducted with the assistance of Mihai Toth, a visual artist from Timișoara.
This event is not open to the public and is held within the Waldorf High School in Timișoara for three groups of middle school students.
