At the end of the After x Class visual culture laboratory, we invite you to a discussion about the power of the image and how we can discuss visual culture with young people. We will be joined by organizations that develop visual education programs for young people, to exchange ideas, experiences and methods that have yielded results. We will discuss how we manage to capture the attention of teenagers, keep them engaged and arouse their curiosity about visual culture, an essential component of contemporary education, in a time when the image has become the main unit of communication. We will explore together what works in working with young people, what methods can be adapted and what resources can help us make visual education more attractive and relevant to them.
If you work with young people or are part of this group, we invite you on Saturday 7 September, from 16.00 at HEI (House of European Institutes, Strada Hector nr 4), to participate in the conversation and see together how we can make visual education more accessible and engaging for future generations.
