The School screenings serve the purpose of introducing and educating students in the art of cinematography, while also acquainting them with the culture and history of the Balkans. We will discuss important aspects addressed by the films through discussions with various specialists in the field of cinema (film critics, directors, educators).

We invite young people aged 6 to 19 at Cinema Victoria Timișoara, where we will screen 6 films created by Balkan directors. Students will watch an art film in a cinema hall and will have the unique opportunity to meet special guests, engaging in discussions about the film.

The School Screenings are organized within The Symposium on Education through Film, which is part of the program of the Balkan Film and Culture Festival – TAIFAS.
