Gașca lirică is a theater show developed by the Teatru pentru Tine Association based on a unique methodology, using the lyrical texts that must be studied for the baccalaureate exam.
This is the result of a workshop-type activity, carried out over two months with students of the "Banatul" Timișoara High School with Sports Program.
Two performances will take place in the high school, on June 4, at 11:00 a.m., with the participation of the colleagues of the young actors in the show.
The project is not a random one, it responds to some documented problems of the educational system in Romania, but also some developments in society. Young people read poetry less than ever and understand it less, being the dreaded baccalaureate subject.
This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
