transPOSPOSTHUMANS – about identity and tolerance in a chaotic age

In an age in which technology, man and nature are becoming politically and emotionally intertwined, TransPOSTHUManțe proposes a discussion about tolerance, nomadism, fluid identities and the challenges of modern capitalism.

The audio-visual installation, inspired by Rosia Braidotti's philosophy and Michel Foucault's theories, explores the interactions between cultural identity, technology and social dynamics in Europe. Available in Romanian, German and Hungarian, the experience highlights the tensions between EU narratives and the realities of diverse populations.

Using multimedia techniques, the boundaries between human, animal and mechanical are blurred, promoting the coexistence of diverse forms of life; Romanian pastoral culture is integrated to critique the differences between EU discourse and socio-economic and cultural realities.

The metaphor of transhumance is exemplified by exploring migrations from and to the EU, and notions of home and belonging. Starting from an exploration of the ethical complexities of traditional Romanian shepherding, it confronts traditional practices with modern standards of animal rights, emphasizing the need to balance cultural and ethical values.

You are therefore invited to embark on a fascinating journey through art, technology and identity!
