TROMPETRE: Sound of Unirii is a collaborative and interdisciplinary project, born at the border between several cultural styles, which aims to combine music, plastic arts and visual arts. The project will be coordinated by Petrică Ionuțescu, with the participation of the artists Marian Ștefan and Cristian Văduva.
We propose a unique show for Timișoara, by holding a concert in one of the balconies of Casa Bruk in Timișoara, with exposure to Unirii Square. The novelty of the event will be given by guests from various areas of the arts such as plastic arts and video show. The transition from the ancient instruments to modern technology - electronic audio and video projections on the building, will ensure a unique complexity to the event. The songs will be original compositions, having as a point of inspiration the specificity of the location.
In real time, inspired by the sound of music and the vibration of the instruments, Marian Ștefan will lay an experimental painting on the canvas, a work that we will keep and which can be furthermore exhibited in several locations in Timișoara.
At the same time, the sound of the concert will be taken over and artistically processed by the artist Cristian Văduva, who will render it to the public in the form of an experimental, authentic videomapping, in the present tense.
It will be a contemplative-ambient music concert, the style being experimental eclectic, with influences of authentic ancient patterns.
The nature of the event contrasts with the tumult and commotion that characterizes Union Square, known as one of the most dynamic locations in the city, with numerous terraces and a lot of people crossing the area.
We propose a moment of rest and connection to the contemplative rhythm of the music, which will slowly envelop the entire Union Square in alternative musical notes.
