Alexandra Tănăsescu is a journalist with 17 years of experience. She was employed at the age of 20 as a reporter at PRO TV, where she worked for almost 12 years. As a news correspondent, she covered major events such as Colectiv, the attacks at the Bataclan - Paris, the Roland Garros final won by Simona Halep, EURO 2016, the protests in Piața Victoriei 2017, the funeral of King Michael. In October 2019, she founded the online publication Cultura la dubă, which in a short time became one of the most read publications dedicated to cultural journalism and education. In 2020, she was awarded the Alex. Leo Șerban Scholarship at TIFF, the most prestigious Romanian scholarship awarded to cultural journalists. She also currently coordinates the activity of the publication Cultura la dubă, where she publishes interviews, reports, investigations or news.
