Alex Mircioi studied film at UNATC, Department of Audiovisual Communication: Screenwriting, Media Advertising, Filmology (2014 - 2017), and in his master's degree he focused on film criticism, following the Filmology specialization (2017 - 2019). The activity of a cultural critic in the field of theater and cinematography, as well as specialized studies, gave him the theoretical basis for further artistic pursuits. He debuted as a playwright with a text staged at the Odeon Theatre, Juliet without Romeo (co-written with Bogdan Th. Olteanu), and now he is preparing the premiere of his first text written by himself Teo and Emi live history, which will also mark his debut as an actor. In the film, he is preparing the short film DPDNT, which will premiere at TIFF, as well as a short film in which he will play Jocul de a vacança (co-written with Bogdan Th. Olteanu). He worked as a set secretary and starred in two feature films Taxi drivers (2022) and Klaus and Barroso (2023).
