The Locus Association is a non-governmental organization that aims to save and promote the cultural, architectural, urban and natural heritage of Romania. The Locus Association has as its first project the activities carried out under the tutelage of Herculane Project, a platform for the cultural and social reactivation of the historical city center of Herculane Baths, with architectural, social and cultural tools. In the long term, the goal is to include the Historical Monument Ensemble in the UNESCO heritage.

The Locus Association has a diverse composition and has developed cultural and educational projects both as a partner and as an organizer. Projects such as the Cultural Herculane Baths, co-financed by AFCN or the summer school for architecture students - the Architecture Bath co-financed by the Romanian Order of Architects, are projects that have contributed to increasing the quality of cultural life in Herculane Baths and to the community's involvement in the organization's activities.

The Locus Association has concluded a series of strategic partnerships in order to implement its projects. In 2020 and 2021, the Locus Association undertook fund-raising actions through two SMS campaigns, with the involvement of over 20 companies that contributed to the saving process of Neptune Baths and organically reached over 2,000,000 people in social media. The total number of platform donors has exceeded 10,000 people.

The Locus Association is an NGO awarded at national level for the developed actions, part of the European organization EUROPA NOSTRA. Last but not least, Neptune Baths were included in the 7 Most Endangered list for 2022 following the application written by the association.
