PPT pt Copii (despre muncă și bani ca și când până acum n-am auzit de ele)

As part of the Energie! Scholarship, Selma Dragoș will conduct interviews with parents from various professional backgrounds about the social usefulness of their work and the extent to which they are defined by it or not, as well as an extensive online documentation (podcasts, shows, magazine articles) for to map the contents that define professional success versus failure today.

What are the things worth working for? What is their relationship with the structure in which they work (organization, colleagues, bosses)? What are the situations in their professional life where they would not want to see their own child? In the same way that she fictionalized and dramatized her own experiences for her child, in the suite of already existing texts, Selma Dragoș will process the material resulting from the interviews to create an archive of short and very short pieces about work. Later, an event at the Basque Theater - testing the text, the effectiveness of the epic theater formula in scrutinizing episodes, then a second performative reading at the Merlin Theater for Children and Youth.

The stage language will be shadow play - using as main light sources a projector and an overhead projector and as a projection space a flipchart, a projection panel and the walls of the hall. Selma Dragoș will tell stories live with the help of objects/tools related to the documented trades. During both readings, parents and children in attendance will be able to contribute answers via a live-polling app. Their answers will complement the visual content and, thanks to the app, will remain anonymous.
