The Forum of Non-Professional Ensembles from Transylvania, the 16th edition, is organized by the Romanian Folk Dance Association. For fifteen years since it was founded, the Association has been selecting the most important non-professional folk dance ensembles from Transylvania. The purpose of this forum is, to follow the professional development of these ensembles, but also to strengthen the community of Hungarian folk dance ensembles from Transylvania that has been united over the years. Creating opportunities to meet and evolve together.
This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
