The Kunsthalle Bega School, The 3rd edition, has been a space for creative and educational projects since 2021. This year's edition is being held in partnership with the Liebling High School and High School No. 1 Timisoara. The project aims to create an educational space for the students of the two schools, carrying out a series of artistic and educational-cultural activities with the aim of facilitating access to art, but also stimulating creativity.
Work sessions and workshops will be supported by artists and cultural educators, students will experience interactive ways of studying and creating, adapted to their age. Each proposed concept represents a new way to look at the reality we live in, to decode and understand it.
Starting from the premise that education is the essence of tolerance, and in the absence of education tolerance is almost non-existent. Through the dialogue and the tasks that the students will receive in the framework of each workshop, they will be encouraged to say what they understand, think, feel, see, hear. Over time, this accumulation of cognitive skills will be socially transferred.
This project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara European Capital of Culture in the year 2023" and is financed by the Power Station+ program | Creative schools, run by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
