The project 'Timisoara All Around' aims to carry out various cultural activities that will take
place in the historic neighborhoods of Timisoara outside the city center, namely Iosefin,
Elisabetin, Fabric, Mehala and Freidorf, in order to expand access to culture to a wide variety
of Timisoara's public from all areas of the city. The project's activities also have an
educational character, as well as raising awareness about the richness of the tangible and
intangible heritage in the immediate vicinity. Project activities include: guided tours,
photography exhibitions, storytelling competition, video interviews with artists from
Timișoara, painting workshops, creative writing workshops for adults and children, and a
demonstrative workshop on woodwork, which will take place from June to October 2024.
The project is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Legacy Timișoara 2023 program, carried out by the Project Center of the Municipality of Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the Ministry of Culture's budget.
