The locality Remetea Mare (German Grossremete, Hungarian Temesremete or Oláhremete, in trans. Remetea Română) is the village of residence of the commune of the same name in Timiș county, Banat, Romania. It is located in the centre of Timiș county, 12 km east of Timișoara municipality. It is crossed by the national road DN6 (E70) and the Bega Canal. The Remetea Mare bridge is 100 years old.
