We continue the Culture Quest journey with a linocut workshop, inspired by the beauty and fragility of the aquatic worlds that so desperately need to be protected.
Under the guidance of artist Mimi Ciora, you will have the opportunity to learn the specific techniques and processes of linocut, from concept to print, and (re)discover not only the beauty and complexity of these worlds, but also their vulnerability to our actions.
🦆🦢🐢 The workshop comes as a possible creative response to the contemporary challenges of conserving and understanding the blue ecosystems that sustain the life on which we all depend. Our goal is not just to create art, but to encourage a dialogue about how we relate to the environment around us and, perhaps, to redefine our relationship with the natural world through art and science.
The results will be brought together in an artist's book.
You don't need any experience or materials – we provide everything you need!
Participation is free, but registration is required by completing the form. We have 12 spots available.
