Danaga (Daniel Aga) is a musician and lives in Cluj. He is known to the public for the albums Am n-"Aripi", "Spiro", "Doamne ferestre", as well as for the folklore works that appeared on the first anthology "Culese din Cartier", edited by Subcarpați.
Playing different instruments (acoustic or electronic), using live-sampling techniques and combining contemporary sounds with traditional themes, they try to go beyond the boundaries between musical genres, events or people.
He was present on the stages of important festivals both in the country and abroad, among which we could mention Amural, Waha, Green Sounds Bucharest, Untold, Neversea, Electric Castle, Mekittburn (Brussels - Belgium), Midnight Sun (Vaeroy - Norway) and performed alongside some important electronic music acts such as Silent Strike, Subcarpati, Akua Naru, Guts, Renegades of Jazz, Club des Belugas, Nightmares on Wax, Baba Zula, Chancha via Circuito, etc.
In addition to his solo work, he composes music for various theater shows, contemporary dance such as "Height Sense", with Alexandra Gârbea and Timea Kovacs, Parallel, directed by Leta Popescu and Ferencz Sinko, "Trei Sorori," directed by Atilla Balogh (Hungarian State Theater Szigligeti from Oradea), "MISA Părut", "Our Little Centenary" and "Electronic City" (directed by Dragoș Mușoiu), "MOMO" (directed by Diana Dragoș - Satu Mare State Theatre) as well as soundtracks for animations, short films and silent films.
