❤️🔥 In a world that is burning, what does education look like? We invite you to envision a non-hierarchical, multispecies education, one that critically examines the systems of power that oppress us. A school for the future we are heading towards, with at least 1.5 degrees Celsius of global warming; an education that can support us mentally, emotionally, and physically, even if we exceed these limits…
How do we imagine this education, and what kind of world can it create?
We plan to explore these questions together in two days of workshops and discussions, open to anyone interested in learning methods that do not require grades, anyone dreaming of futures they eagerly anticipate, and especially anyone who wishes to contribute to bringing these visions closer.
🫂 The School of Earth and Water always has its doors open, it is fluid and constantly in motion!
Join us for a workshop with Maria Martelli and Mina Mimosa, part of just wondering..., a small autonomous collective that creates critical and speculative animated essays. Their productions often explore ant speciesism, posthumanism, social and environmental justice. The collective includes Aron Nor, an independent researcher and self-taught artivist director, Mina Mimosa, a visual artist and illustrator, and M. Martelli, a writer and activist-researcher.
