Taietzel Ticalos (b. 1986) uses 3D visual experiments in unusual personal research, mostly with a critical perspective on how technology blurs the boundaries between real and virtual and how it amplifies gender biases. Conceived for the screen and with a penchant for developing speculative narratives, the artist's projects have moved from capturing the paradoxes of the online environment to reflecting the consequences of the algorithmic age. In the period 2014-2016, together with Gabriela Mateescu, she coordinated the Nucleu 0000 mobile group, a flexible group of young artists. Since 2019, the group jointly manages the digital art platform www.spam-index.com.
