Claudia Bucsai’s project, proposed under the Energie! Grant, involves 24 individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds each receiving a disposable film camera to document 24 hours of their daily lives. Participants will be selected from cultural events (like concerts, cinemas, theaters) and everyday locations in Timișoara, with the main criterion being diversity. The goal is to visually educate the public and allow participants to express themselves creatively through analog photography, which prevents immediate alteration of images, capturing an authentic perspective.
The project’s outcome will include a promotional video presenting Timișoara through the eyes of its residents, a written article by Bucsai, a project journal with participants' reflections, and dedicated social media pages to showcase the photos, archive, and analysis of the works.
This project is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and was funded through Energie! Burse de Creație grant by the City of Timisoara, through the Center for Projects.
