The Revolutionary in My Family

Each participating pupil is encouraged to identify a family member (grandparent, parent, aunt, etc.) or a close acquaintance (neighbour, teacher, family friend, etc.) who participated in the Revolution, ask them about their experiences, and learn the stories they lived during the Revolution. For example, you can visit the places where they worked or protested. They might find a piece of clothing, a book, or another object they had during those days. Finally, the pupil will take up to three photographs - documentary or artistic - of the person they interviewed, in places or with objects that inspired the stories they learned. The photos will be accompanied by a short text, written by the pupil in a personal and non-fictional style, describing the revolutionary’s experiences depicted in the photos. You can find the rules of the contest at 35libertate.primariatm.ro/concurs.
