Conference The City, Technology and Design

The conference "The City, Technology and Design" is an opportunity to know and understand the value offered by the collaboration between disciplines, apparently without intersection points: academic research and design.

The conference comes to enrich with ideas and conversations the exhibition " Turn Signals - Design is not a Dashboard", within the Bright Cityscapes Program.

Moderated by the Bright Cityscapes program curator Martina Muzi, the discussions aim to address the needs of the local ecosystem through design and provide an international view on the state of digital transformation and design in general.

16:30–17:50   Short discussion sessions with the designers in the exhibition, moderated by Martina Muzi:

City, Technology and Design (session II)
16:00–16:35    Debate moderated by Loredana Gaiță, with the researchers present in the exhibition: Cristina Stângaciu, Raul Ionel, Ioan Both and Versavia Ancușa, about the impact of the collaborations proposed through Bright Cityscapes.
16:40–17:00    Debate moderated by Cristian Blidariu, with Eugenio Cosentino (Parasite2.0) and Ioan Both about the city and its hidden languages.
17:00–17:10    Break
17:10–18:00    Debate moderated by Martina Muzi and Aric Chen with: Nadine Botha, Alina Șerban, Oana Simionescu and Loredana Gaiță about the importance of collaborations to bring research and design together, respectively their possible impact on the city and the cultural,educational and entrepreneurial systems.
