Culture Quest: Utopia | Sit+Read Art Book Fair

Mimi Ciora has proposed a series of artistic challenges with a personal touch to a group of young individuals who share a common passion for drawing, illustration, comics, and more. Her non-formal pedagogical vision, combined with contemporary values and a practical component, has resulted in the Utopia workshops.

Utopia represents a series of informal gatherings, a collaborative experience where creative practice intersects with contemporary art. A collective space where everyone is valued. The project not only encourages creativity but also promotes experimentation and speculative themes, ecological concerns, and topics related to cohabitation, all within a framework based on time, space, and social relationships. These meetings took place over the course of several months, some weekly, and others less frequent.

We look forward to showing you the results from October 26th to 29th at Sit+Read Artbook Fair 2023, now in its fifth edition - an event that brings together artists, designers, and art enthusiasts at the Corneliu Miklosi Museum on Take Ionescu 83.
