An exhibition of emerging artists is disrupted by the "intervention" of a group of young extremists. Their motivation gradually becomes apparent as events take an unexpected turn.

How does the dialogue between tradition and artistic innovation unfold in a highly ideological world?
What is the balance between authenticity and imposture in activist and progressive spaces?
What role does money play in such a context?
How do some young people become radicalized, and what dynamics underpin the formation of such extremist groups?
How is violence born, and how is the distance measured between words and deeds, between fantasy and action?

These are just a few of the questions that the play Expuși (Exposed) explores, without excessive theorization, in an attempt to capture some of the tensions lingering in Romania in 2024.

From October 18 to 30, 2024, in Timișoara, the International Theatre Festival "Sunlight Theatre: Performative Dialogues II" opens its doors to celebrate the art of theatre in a truly unique way.

This year's edition, organized by the Cultural Foundation Artmedia, in collaboration with the Faculty of Music and Theatre at the West University of Timișoara, highlights the future great creators and performers of the theatre world. We are talking about young students and graduates who, through their passion, transform the stage into a living space pulsing with creative energy.

The event is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Legacy Timișoara 2023 program, run by the Timișoara Municipal Project Center, with funds allocated from the state budget through the Ministry of Culture.
