How do we create a safe and inclusive campus?

On Thursday, November 16th, from 6:00 p.m., we will meet in the Multipurpose Hall of the Politehnica University’s Library to talk about how we can make the university campus a safe space where diversity and inclusion are integrated and understood by all communities.

Our host will be Andre Rădulescu, LGBTQIA+ activist and founder of the organization Identity.Education.

Identity. Education is an association from Timișoara that organizes educational, artistic and cultural events aimed at bringing the LGBTQIA+ community closer to the residents of Timișoara. The organization's vision is to create bridges of communication between diverse communities through education and mutual understanding.

The workshop lasts 2 hours and is open to everyone. It will have a storytelling component, but also a more applied part where we will discuss concrete solutions on how to improve life and communication between micro-communities on campus.

The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
