The workshop will guide participants in discovering the processes behind the creation of an object, the intense preparation, and the multiple experiments an artist undertakes before the objects and images are displayed. The central theme is a simple yet engineering-like action: model-making. Every artist, like every architect, has a plan, sometimes utopian, striving to contribute to the life of the communities they are part of.
Starting from the example of Andrei Arion's exhibition, *Trying to Move Without a Push*, currently on display at Kunsthalle Bega Box, as well as from historical artists like Vladimir Tatlin or the Sigma Group, we will imagine possible constructions, model and experiment with simple materials and forms, and explore the possibilities of transforming these constructions into real (or imaginary) interventions in urban spaces.
