In the framework of the event Jakab Toffler Report Palace is unveiled at City Celebration, Jakab Toffler House invites you to a series of public activities (presentations, debates, screenings, newspaper launch, documentary film screening, guided tour, music and good cheer), aimed at highlighting the inner courtyards of the Jakab Toffler Report Palace and the tangible and intangible heritage of the Fabric district, with a focus on the elements that shape, create and keep alive the intra-community relations.
The Fabric neighborhood is a territory in constant reconfiguration, both socially and urbanistically. Through the activities of the Jakab Toffler House, negotiation, solidarity and self-organization are made possible, as well as the implementation of new forms of conviviality or different exchanges of goods and ideas.
Thus, over several days, the house garden is transformed from a private space into a public, cultural space, open to the public, animated by events on the themes of nature, living and the built environment - three subjects that inspire most of the activities proposed by the association.
The series of public events confronts the conflicts of macro urban planning through research, studies, presentations and small-scale events, with the idea of realizing and maintaining sustainable human structures.
