We invite you to sail on the Bega touring from D'arc Mal (Andrei Șaguna bridge) to The Water Plant (Turbine) to Modoș Bridge and back, with presentations by the architect Bogdan Demetrescu / D Proiect, Ovidiu Daneș / DALA Foundation, Cătălin Bătrânu / sculptor, Ovidiu Hrin / Typopassage.
The dialogue about art on Bega starts from a brief history of the interventions of the last decades and up to a new vision regarding the cultural tour on the Timișoara - Zrenjanin segment, which builds its discourse on multidisciplinary research on the natural and man-made landscape.
Bega is an important attraction for Timișoara and for the region, and the fact that it is the only navigable canal in Romania makes it more attractive for contemporary art.
The project is part of the national cultural programme "Timișoara – European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is funded through the Grow Timișoara 2023 programme, implemented by the Center for Projects Timișoara, with funds allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture.
