Minitremu Art Camp 9: Tower Fountain Instalation

Built around a nomadic art camp, the pedagogical project Minitremu Art Camp, aimed at high school and first-year university students from the country and Europe, includes artistic workshops and activities that become a pretext for discussions about current issues in contemporary society.

The ninth edition of the Minitremu Art Camp, developed in collaboration with the Fine Arts High School of Timișoara, proposed several collaborative processes of design and re-imagining of the educational space as an inclusive space for collective learning.

The results, realized by artists Nadira Husain and Krishan Rajapakshe (foundationClass), Marlène Halguevache, Aziz Aissaoui, Radhouane Boudhraa (El Warcha Studio), Andrei Becheru and Nicoleta Moise, will be exhibited in the courtyard of the Fine Arts High School of Timișoara, in the form of a multidisciplinary installation as an agora and meeting place, an open space, dedicated to collective research, free discussion, self-organization and peer-to-peer education.

The project is a multidiscplinary experiment that stimulates curiosity, affectivity and collective development, continuing to a large extent the tradition of the Sigma group, which implemented in the 1970s, within the Fine Arts High School of Timișoara, its own curriculum that created new connections between art and pedagogy.
