Melting Dice is a band formed in Timișoara in the autumn of 2014, initially consisting of four members: Flavius Vutan (guitar), Sorin Ghiniță (drums), Dani Șimon (bass), and Bogdan Cotîrță (guitar and vocals). In 2015, the band started performing at festivals and their own concerts, and in the spring of 2016, they released their first music video for the song "Inert." In 2017, they released their first album titled "Cord Cablu Creier," and in 2020, their second EP called "Mat deschis."

In 2020, Dani Șimon was replaced on bass by Adolf Vegh, and Flavius Vutan left the band. In 2021, the band functioned as a trio, and since 2022, they have returned to a quartet lineup, consisting of Bogdan Cotirta (vocals and guitar), Sorin Ghinita (drums), Alfred Paros (bass), and Cristi Paros (keyboards). The genre they explore is alternative rock.

Ioan Popovici, a member of Effect band and later of Flare and Flarehead, embarks on a new musical project, with original songs and a lot of rock energy, together with Alin, the drummer with whom he has shared the stage for over 15 years.

Muzicon.hub is a support platform for the alternative music scene. Within the hub, there are rehearsal rooms, production studios, an artist residency program, and an outdoor concert space.

Event co-funded by the Timis County Council through the TimCultura 2023 programme.
