CODRU Festival, Galateca and Neo Art Romania are delighted to invite you to CODRU Sustainart Village & Creative Sustainability Week - an educational project that focuses on sustainable urban development and creative art. The OPENING of the exhibitions and the launch of the Eat Art - Edible Art Installation, created by Elena Aronoaie - Adorian will take place on Friday, October 6th, starting at 19:30, in the heart of the city at CODRU Urban Garden. The evening will continue with a DJ showcase starting at 21:30.

The Exhibition of Visual and Decorative Arts brings together renowned artists whose multidisciplinary research brings to the forefront of the European Capital of Culture an eminently European subject: sustainability, concern for the future and responsibility towards the environment as a creator.

The sustainable design exhibition presents the result of the concerns of Romanian designers from various disciplines, where waste, material remains and their recycling become the new gold. The entire course of an object follows the ethics of a chain of actions, from design to manufacture and finally consumption. The creation of the exhibiting designers synthesizes economic efficiency, social equity, protecting resources and finally, environmentally friendly production.
