The Timișoara 2023 Association invites you to attend the photography exhibition "Timișoara Incognito" opening in collaboration with the Romanian Embassy in Berlin. The event will occur on November 27, 2023, at the Romanian Embassy in Berlin, Dorotheenstraße 62·66.
This exhibition, organized on the occasion of Romania's National Day, aims to promote the National Cultural Program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023".
"Timișoara Incognito" showcases finalists and winning images from the "Timișoara Incognito - Free of Stereotypes" contest, initiated by the Timișoara 2023 Association - European Capital of Culture. The exhibition also includes an impressive selection of photographs from the Romanian Revolution 1989, which began in Timișoara, taken by photojournalist Constantin Duma.
Featuring 52 Romanian photographers, the exhibition explores and redefines the city of Timișoara through 52 vibrant visions, highlighting this multicultural city's diversity, energy, and courage. The curator of the exhibition is Elena Aronoaie-Adorian.
