Timișoara: Free City, Free Spirit
In 2023, Timișoara hosts the European Capital of Culture, a European cultural project of strategic importance for Timișoara and Romania.
In this context, the Timișoara 2023 Association - European Capital of Culture and the Romanian Cultural Institute will partner to organize events promoting the National Cultural Program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023". The aim of the events, generically titled "Timișoara: Free City, Free Spirit", is to introduce the European cultural communities to the 2023 European Capital of Culture program, connect Romanian artists with European cultural networks, and attract foreign participants to the cultural events in Timișoara.
This series of events are part of the communication for the "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture" program in 2023. A cultural project funded by the Ministry of Culture.
