The Timișoara 2023 Association invites you to a special event promoting the National Cultural Program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023". This event will occur in collaboration with the Romanian Cultural Institute in Beijing, the Ministry of Culture, and the Consulate General of Romania in Shanghai. It will be held on November 9 and 10, 2023, at the famous Blue Note Jazz Club in Beijing and Shanghai and at the headquarters of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Beijing.

The primary purpose of this event is to inform the cultural community in China about the details of the Timișoara 2023 program - European Capital of Culture. Additionally, the event aims to facilitate connections between Romanian artists and cultural networks in China, providing a conducive environment for exchanging ideas and experiences. On November 9, at 10:00 a.m., there will be a press conference about the National Cultural Program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023" at the headquarters of ICR Beijing in Galaxy SOHO, Chaoyangmen.

JazzyBIT, a renowned loud jazz trio from Timișoara, will present an extraordinary musical moment. Composed of Teodor Pop (piano, keyboards), Mihai Moldoveanu (bass), and Szabó Csongor-Zsolt (drums), JazzyBIT offers an energetic combination of jazz and rock, sprinkled with influences of blues, Latin, and funk. The venue, Blue Note Jazz Club, is one of the most iconic international jazz clubs, with locations in cities such as New York, Hawaii, Tokyo, Milan, Beijing, and Shanghai. With a solid reputation for its intimate atmosphere and quality performances, the club was inaugurated in China in 2016 and continues to support young artists and emerging talents in the world of jazz. The event is open to the general public and professionals from the cultural industry and artistic environment.
