The Timișoara 2023 Association invites you to a special event promoting the National Cultural Program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023". This event is organized in collaboration with the Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna (Austria) and will take place on October 24, 2023, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the ICR headquarters in Vienna.
The primary purpose of the event is to inform the cultural community of Vienna about the details of the Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture program, to connect Romanian artists with cultural networks in Austria, facilitating the exchange of ideas and experiences, and to provide Austrian journalists with the necessary information to promote Timișoara 2023 to the Austrian public.
The event will begin with the opening a photography exhibition titled "2023, TIMIȘOARA", signed by the talented artist Adrian Pîclișan. This exhibition aims to be an invitation to Timișoara and tries to whet the Austrian public's appetite for discovering significant sequences of European culture in the city where the December 1989 Revolution began.
The cultural evening will continue on an elegant musical note, with participants invited to enjoy an exceptional piano concert performed by the talented Timișoara pianist Sebastian Spanache.
The event will take place at the headquarters of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna, located at Argentinierstraße 39, 1040 Wien, Austria.
